Birds perch among bamboo and flowering vines, their wings poised in mirrored harmony. Reimagined from an 18th-century palampore. Palamara evokes the refined exoticism of chintz. Soft indigos and madder reds create a tapestry of movement and stillness intertwined.

Notes: This fabric has been inspired by a detail from an artwork in the collections of the British Museum. Floral detail from a glazed cotton chintz hanging (palampore), painted and dyed and made for export, mid-18th century, from India, British Museum 1998,0505,0.1, funded by the Brooke Sewell Permanent Fund
