About Type-3 Kiryu
Type-3 Kiryu is a bio-mechanical anti-Godzilla weapon built around the skeletal remains of the original 1954 Godzilla. Following the events of Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla, Kiryu is repaired and upgraded for Godzilla × Mothra × Mechagodzilla: Tokyo S.O.S., receiving enhanced equipment that allows it to operate in both heavily armed and high-mobility combat configurations. Kiryu remains one of the most popular incarnations of Mechagodzilla in the franchise.
